Meet Titus—Ambassador Athlete.
I was first introduced to Ambassador Sports and Tony as a freshman in college. I had been raised in the Mormon faith but stepped away a few years earlier because of the inconsistencies I saw.
Even after leaving, I held onto a deep belief in God, but I was lost and searching for truth. I didn’t know it at the time, but God was leading me exactly where I needed to go. That path took me to CSU Pueblo to wrestle, and that’s where He placed Tony in my life.
During my time there, I grew not just as a wrestler but as a man of God. Week after week, Tony opened his doors and his heart to us through Bible studies that were more than lessons; they were moments where God spoke directly into my life. In those studies, I began to see clearly how God works, how He sent His Son to die for us, how far we fall short of His glory, and how, through Him, we have eternal life. For the first time, the truth I had been searching for finally felt real.
Because of Ambassador Sports, my eyes were opened. I began living not just as someone who believed in God, but as someone who followed Him. I remember the night everything changed: sitting alone in my truck after a Bible study, overwhelmed by what God was doing in my life. It was just me and God that I gave my life to Christ.
Two and a half years after meeting Tony, my entire world shifted. That decision has carried me through every hardship, every setback, and every challenge as both an athlete and a man. Tony didn’t just impact my life; God used him to transform it. I am still amazed by the ways God works.
Today, my heart is set on giving athletes the same opportunity Ambassador Sports gave me. As the head wrestling coach at Colorado Northwestern and a strength and conditioning coach, I host biweekly Bible studies to share God’s truth with my wrestlers and with anyone willing to hear it. My prayer is that they experience God and see the truth as I did!
